# Cvent REST Connector

## Intro

Cvent, Inc. is a publicly held software-as-a-service company that specializes in meetings, events, and hospitality management technology. Use Domo's Cvent REST Connector to retrieve data for various insights and metrics about attendees, contacts, events, surveys, and so on.

You connect to your Cvent account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Cvent connector user interface. ## Prerequisites

To connect to your Cvent account and create a DataSet, you must have the following:

* Your Cvent Account Name
* Your Client ID and Client Secret associated with your Cvent app
* You also need to select the Region for your Cvent instance

Before you connect to Cvent in Domo, you need to whitelist the appropriate IP addresses for your region. ## Connect to Your Cvent Account

This section enumerates the options in the **Credentials** and **Details** panes in the Cvent REST Connector page. ## Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Cvent account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

Once you have entered valid Cvent credentials, you can use the same account any time you go to create a new Cvent REST DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the **Accounts** tab in the Data Center. ## Details Pane

This pane contains a primary **Reports** menu, along with various other menus which may or may not appear depending on the report type you select.
