To learn more about the Bitly API, visit their website ([https://dev.bitly.com/v4\_documentation.html](https://dev.bitly.com/v4_documentation.html "https://dev.bitly.com/v4_documentation.html") ). The Bitly connector is a "Cloud App" connector, meaning it retrieves data stored in the cloud. In the Data Center, you can access the connector page for this and other Cloud App connectors by clicking **Cloud App** in the toolbar at the top of the window. You connect to your Bitly account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus specific to the Bitly connector user interface. ## Prerequisites To connect to your Bitly account and create a DataSet, you must provide credentials for Bitly, Facebook, or Twitter. ## Connecting to Your Bitly Account This section enumerates the options in the **Credentials** and **Details** panes in the Bitly Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, **Scheduling** and **Name & Describe Your DataSet**, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in [Adding a DataSet Using a Connector](/s/article/360042926274 "Adding a DataSet Using a Connector"). ## Credentials Pane The Domo Bitly connector uses OAuth to connect, so there is no need to enter credentials within Domo. Click **Connect** (or select **Add Account** if you have existing Bitly accounts in Domo) to open the Bitly OAuth screen where you can sign in to Bitly using Bitly, Facebook, or Twitter credentials. Once you have entered valid Bitly credentials, you can use the same account any time you go to create a new Bitly DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the **Accounts** tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see [Manage Connector Accounts](/s/article/360042926054 "Manage Connector Accounts"). ## Details Pane This pane contains a primary **Report** menu, along with various other menus and fields which may or may not appear depending on the report type you select.

Description

Report

Select the Bitly report you want to run. The following reports are available:

Report Name	Description
Bitlink By Group	Returns the paginated collection of Bitlinks for a Group.
Campaigns	Returns the campaigns for the current user.
Channels	Returns the channels available to a user.
Click Count	Returns the click counts for the specified Bitlinks. This returns an array with clicks based on a date.
Custom Bitlinks	Returns the details and history of the specified custom Bitlinks.
Groups	Returns a list of groups.
Link Clicks	Returns the number of clicks for a given Bitlink. Returns the click counts for the specified Bitlink. This rolls up all the data into a single field of clicks.
Link Countries	Returns metrics about the countries referring click traffic rolled up to a Group.
Link Referres By Domain	Returns metrics about the pages referring click traffic to a given Bitlink, grouped by referring domain.
Organizations	Returns a list of organizations.
Organization Shorten Counts	Returns all the shorten counts for a specific organization.
Referring Domains	Returns the click counts to a referrer about a single Bitlink.
Referring Network	Return metrics about the referring network click traffic rolled up to a Group.
Shorten Counts	Return all the shorten counts for a specific group.
User Countries	Returns metrics about the countries referring click traffic rolled up to a Group.

Group GUID

Select the group GUID.

Bitly Links

Enter the Bitly links for which you want to retrieve the information. One link per line. For example, bit.ly /\*\*\*\*\*.

Granularity

Select the time unit. When the unit is minute, then the data for the last 60 minutes will be returned.

Report Dates

Specify whether the data in this report is for a single date or a range of dates.

Include Archived BitLink

Select this checkbox if you want to Include Archived BitLink.

Include Deep BitLink

Select this checkbox if you want to Include Deep BitLink.

Include Custom BitLink

Select this checkbox if you want to Include Custom BitLink.

Custom Bitlinks

Enter the custom bitlink of the domain and keyword.

Single date - Relative - Days Back

Select which day you want to receive the data, by entering a number relative to today.

For example, enter 0 for today, 1 for yesterday, or 7 for 7 days ago.

This field appears when you select the Report Dates as Single date .

Date range - Start Date - Days Back

Select from which day you want to start receiving the data for by entering a number relative to today.

For example, enter 1 for a start date of yesterday, 7 for a start date of 1 week ago, and 30 for a start date of 1 month ago.

This field appears when you select the Report Dates as Date range and the Start Date as Relative .

Date range - End Date - Days Back

Choose which day you want to stop receiving the data for by entering a number relative to today. For example, enter 0 for an end date of today, or 1 for an end date of yesterday.

This field appears when you select the Report Dates as Date range and the End Date as Relative .

Time Period

Select the time period for which you want to receive the data.

Unit

Select whether data should be broken down by day, by hour, by week, etc.

Number of Units

Enter the number of units of the selected time unit that should be returned. For example, if you selected Month as the Unit and entered 3 for Number of Units , data would be returned for the last 3 months. If you enter -1, all units of time are returned.

Time Zone

Enter the desired time zone. You can enter this as an integer hour offset from UTC (from -14 to 14 ) or as an actual time zone name. This defaults to Eastern Standard Time.

Roll Up

Choose whether to return data for multiple units rolled up to a single result instead of a separate value for each period of time.
