# HealthData Connector

## Intro

The [HealthData.gov](http://HealthData.gov) is dedicated to making valuable health data discoverable and available to the public in the hopes of better health outcomes for all. It provides data on a wide range of topics, including environmental health, medical devices, social services, community health, and mental health. The Domo HealthData connector helps you to fetch the public health information datasets for various categories. Use Domo’s HealthData connector to get the recently added datasets and retrieve updated public health data. To learn more about the HealthData API, visit [https://www.hhs.gov/web/developer/index.html](https://www.hhs.gov/web/developer/index.html "https://www.hhs.gov/web/developer/index.html").

This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the HealthData connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](/s/article/360042926274).

## Accessing the public health dataset

This section enumerates the options in the **Details** panes in the HealthData Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, **Scheduling** and **Name & Describe Your DataSet**, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](/s/article/360042926274).

### Details Pane

This pane contains list of the recently updated health datasets.
