Use Domo's Cvent Rest Writeback connector to export your data from a Domo dataset to your Cvent account. You can connect to your Cvent REST Writeback account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Cvent REST Writeback connector user interface. To add DataSets, set update schedules, and edit DataSet information, see [Adding a DataSet Using a Connector](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926274?language=en_US "Adding a DataSet Using a Connector"). ## Prerequisites To connect to your Cvent REST Writeback account and create a DataSet, you need the following: * Region for your Cvent instance * Client ID and Client Secret * DOMO Client ID and Secret ## Connecting to Your Cvent REST Writeback Account This section enumerates the options in the **Credentials** and **Details** panes on the Cvent REST Writeback Connector page. The components of the other panes on this page, **Scheduling**, and **Name & Describe Your DataSet**, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in great detail in [Adding a DataSet Using a Connector](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926274?language=en_US "Adding a DataSet Using a Connector"). ## Credentials Pane This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Cvent REST Writeback account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

Field	Description
Account Name	Enter a name for your Cvent Account.
Region	Select the region for your Cvent instance.
Client ID	Enter the Client ID from your Cvent app.
Client Secret	Enter the Client Secret from your Cvent app.
DOMO Client ID	Please refer to [Creating a Developer Client and Auth Token](/s/article/000005240#create-api-clients) for instructions on how to get your Client ID and Secret.

Once you have entered valid Cvent REST Writeback credentials, you can use the same account at any time to create a new Cvent REST Writeback DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the **Accounts** tab in the Data Center. Domo Dataset

Dataset ID

Enter the id of your Domo dataset which contains the data to write to Cvent.

The id is located in the dataset url. For example: [https://customer.domo.com/datasources/aaaaaaaa-bbbb-cccc-dddd-eeeeeeeeeeee/details/settings](https://customer.domo.com/datasources/aaaaaaaa-bbbb-cccc-dddd-eeeeeeeeeeee/details/settings) .

Configuration Mapping

Once you enter the Dataset ID, the Use automated mapping and Select mapping manually radio button appears. Select if you want to use automated mapping (if your dataset fields match the Cvent Fields) or if you want to define the mapping manually.

Use automated mapping: If the Cvent fields and dataset fields match exactly, then you can select automated mapping.

Select mapping manually: For manual mapping, match the desired Cvent fields and the dataset columns.

Upsert Choice: From the drop-down list, select how you want to upsert data into Cvent. The following fields appears when you select the Upsert choice as Upsert based on custom fields .
