Use Domo's Sumo Logic connector to pull your IT insight data into Domo. The Sumo Logic Advanced connector uses the latest version of the Sumo Logic API. To learn more about the Sumo Logic Advanced API, visit their page ([https://api.au.sumologic.com/docs/#section/Getting-Started](https://api.au.sumologic.com/docs/#section/Getting-Started "https://api.au.sumologic.com/docs/#section/Getting-Started") ). You can connect to your Sumo Logic Advanced account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Sumo Logic Advanced connector user interface. To add DataSets, set update schedules, and edit DataSet information, see [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926274?language=en_US "Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector"). ## Prerequisites To connect to your Sumo Logic Advanced account and create a DataSet, you must have the following: * Environment * Access ID * Access Key ## Connecting to Your Sumo Logic Advanced Account This section enumerates the options in the **Credentials** and **Details** panes on the Sumo Logic Advanced Connector page. The components of the other panes on this page, **Scheduling**, and **Name & Describe Your DataSet**, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in great detail in [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926274?language=en_US "Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector"). ## Credentials Pane This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Sumo Logic Advanced account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

Field	Description
Environment	The easiest way to know which pod your account uses is to look at the Sumo Logic URL. If you see "us2" it means that you're running on the US2 pod.

Once you have entered valid Sumo Logic Advanced credentials, you can use the same account at any time to create a new Sumo Logic Advanced DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the **Accounts** tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see [Managing User Accounts for Connectors](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926054?language=en_US "Managing User Accounts for Connectors"). ## Details Pane This pane contains a primary **Reports** menu, along with various other menus which may or may not appear depending on the report type you select.

Description

Report

Select the Sumo Logic Advanced report you want to run. The following reports are available:

Report Name	Description
Collectors	Returns Collectors and Sources data.
Dashboard	Returns information about the dashboard for the given identifier.
Search	Provides access to resources and log data from third-party scripts and applications.

Query

The actual search expression.

Column Name

Enter a comma-separated list of column names that need to be converted to 'Text' in the output.

How much data should be imported with each run?

Select if you want to import data for a specific period or all data since the last run.

All data since last run : Select this option only if you are trying to schedule the dataset in the append mode and you want to import all data since the last run.

Set a custom date range : Select the desired period you want to import data for.

Backfill

Backfill is a one-time retrieval of data on the first run. Subsequent runs will not backfill the data. Enter the number of days to retrieve data in the past.

Start Date

Select the report start date using Relative or Specific dates. Relative means the number of days from today or a specific date using the date selector.

Select Specific Start Date

Select the report date using the date selector.

Days back to start from

The number of days back that you would like to get data for. Specify either today or 0, yesterday or 1, or today-7 or 7 to get data for 7 days into the past.

End Date

Select report end date using Relative or Specific dates. Relative means number of days from today or a specific date using the date selector.

Select Specific End Date

Select the report date using the date selector.

Days back to end at

The number of days back that you would like to get data to (end day). Specify either today or 0, yesterday or 1, or today-7 or 7 to get data for 7 days into the past.

Split date ranges into multiple smaller ranges (checkbox)

Select the checkbox if you are expecting a large amount of data. The connector splits the selected date range into smaller ranges and makes multiple API calls to handle large data.

TimeZone

Enter time zone in three-letter format. For example: MST.

Results Type

Select the type of results to be returned. Messages are raw log messages. Records are aggregates.

Dashboard Id

Enter the UUID of the dashboard to be returned.
